DANNELLY FIELD, Ala. -- Airmen with the 187th Fighter Wing conducted a rapid cargo movement at Dannelly Field, Alabama, July 1-2, 2025, in support of the wing's participation in Resolute Force Pacific (REFORPAC), a Department-Level Exercise (DLE) demonstrating rapid deployment capabilities.
The logistics operation showcased the wing’s ability to quickly generate equipment critical to the F-35A Lightning II mission, reinforcing dispersed operations essential for the Air Force's rapid deployment strategy. This cargo movement delivers support for Airmen from the 187th Fighter Wing participating in REFORPAC 25, the Air Force’s largest contingency response exercise ever conducted in the Pacific, designed to deliver Air Force capabilities to the Indo-Pacific region at speed and scale, and demonstrate the ability to command and control agile combat employment (ACE) operations across more than six time zones.
The 187th Logistics Readiness Squadron coordinated the rapid loading and shipping of critical cargo from Dannelly Field, demonstrating the Air National Guard's role in total force integration and dispersed operations across multiple theaters while maintaining the flexibility required for agile combat employment in contested environments.
Participation in this exercise reinforces the 187th Fighter Wing’s contribution to collective deterrence and demonstrates the Alabama National Guard's readiness to support large-scale Pacific theater operations.
REFORPAC 25 is part of the first-in-a-generation DLE series, a new way of conducting operations in a contested, dynamic environment to build capabilities making a stronger, more lethal deterrent force. The DLE series encompasses all branches of the Department of Defense, along with allies and partners, employing more than 400 joint and coalition aircraft and more than 12,000 members at more than 50 locations across 3,000 miles.
