Maintenance Group Information

Maintenance Group Commander:

Maintenance Operations Flight:
Commander: Maj. Chris Pangle

The MOF is responsible to the Maintenance Group Commander (MXG/CC) for aircraft maintenance staff functions required for the efficient operation of the Maintenance Group. This flight normally includes the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), Plans, Scheduling and Documentation (PS&D), Engine Management (EM), Training Management, Maintenance Analysis, MXG Budget Analysis and Maintenance Plans and Programs. They are responsible to the MXG/CC for overall flight management.


Maintenance Squadron:
Commander: Maj. Brent Ivey

The MXS consists of personnel from various Air Force Specialty Codes organized into flights: Propulsion, Avionics, Accessories Maintenance, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Fabrication, and Munitions Flights. The MXS maintains AGE, munitions, off-equipment aircraft and support equipment components; performs on-equipment maintenance of aircraft and fabrication of parts; and provides repair and calibration of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment.


Aircraft Maintenance Squadron:
Commander: Lt. Col. Kevin Pugh

Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for generation of assigned aircraft. Aircraft generation is the cumulative effort required to service, inspect, maintain, launch, and recover assigned aircraft. It includes activities that ensure personnel and mobility requirements are met to support the wings mission. The squadron is comprised of Weapons, Specialist Flight and Aircraft Element. Support Staff and Production Element is also assigned to the squadron.


Quality Assurance:
Superintendent: Chief Master Sergeant Johnny Tadlock

Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible to the MXG/CC to perform as the primary technical advisory agency for maintenance and assists work center supervisors in managing the maintenance effort. The QA staff evaluates the quality of maintenance accomplished in the maintenance organization and performs necessary functions to manage the organization's Maintenance Standardization Evaluation Program.
