100th Fighter Squadron Pilot Requirements

To be an eligible pilot applicant for the 100th Fighter Squadron, the following requirements must be met:

1. Be a U.S. Citizen
2. Not exceed their 30th Birthday and/or 5 years beyond their Total Federal Commissioned Service Date, by the start date of the first available UPT class (In accordance with Chapter 1.1.6 of (AFI 36-2205-LINK)
3. A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an institution listed in the current
Accredited Institutions of Post Secondary Education. The board will look at applicants that will graduate within 3 months of the board date.
4. Above average cumulative GPA
5. Take the (Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQ-LINK)
6. Complete the Basic Attributes Test (BAT)
7. Attain a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
(FAA Form 8500-LINK)
8. No physical defects that would prohibit attaining a Flying Class I Physical - outlined in Attachment 7 of (AFI 48-123-LINK)
9. Height & Weight must be in accordance with the Air Force standards outlined in Attachment 16 of (AFI 48-123-LINK)
10. Be in good physical shape to allow you to pass the FACT and the 1.5 mile run.
11. Be able to pass a background check to receive a Top Secret Security clearance
